Before the next generation.

This photo will always remind me of the time before we created the next generation. Just hanging out in the countryside, playing around doing nothing in particular. I guess my life will suddenly get a real purpose sometime in the coming weeks. Not that I didn’t have one before, but in hindsight everything just seems so unimportant in comparison.

And yes, some of you might recognize where I got my inspiration from. The cover of M83′s excellent sophomore album Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts. Mr. Gonzales, you’re a genius.

The Birgit Nilsson Prize.

Earlier this week I, together with two other photographers and one editor, shot the Birgit Nilsson Prize ceremony at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm. It was great fun and I already look forward to the next ceremony. This years laureate is Maestro Riccardo Muti and the prize is awarded biennially.

Thanks Fredrik Stehn and Annci Gustavsson for bringing me along, and Camilla Svensk for creating a good team spirit.

Kennedies Independent Dressing.

I recently visited my old friends in their newly opened clothing shop in Västerås. I snapped a few shots while I was there, but the real purpose of the trip was to start planning our future collaboration. Which I’m very excited about.

Anyway, the store looks really nice and I wish you guys the best of luck!
